Brexit is a ‘colossal economic shock’ doing more damage than the Iran crisis, says former Goldman Sachs chief economist

Lord Jim O’Neill, the former chief economist at Goldman Sachs who coined the term BRIC, has described Brexit as a “colossal economic shock” that is doing more permanent damage to the British economy than the Iran war energy crisis – and predicted that Labour will eventually campaign on rejoining the single market to win over young voters.
